  • Peter Burditt, Founder

    Peter has practiced as an executive coach in the financial services sector for three decades. He brings a combination of pragmatic business experience, psychological insights, strategic awareness to the C-suite of Boards including private equity backed portfolio companies in a range of industries and has in addition perfected performance development programmes for hedge fund traders ‘Psychology of Risk’.

    His direct, challenging and empathetic coaching approach combines practical business insights, psychological depth with strategic awareness to empower clients to navigate complex challenges and achieve their full potential.

    His coaching style is direct, challenging, and transformative. He provides clients with fresh perspectives on how to improve their leadership effectiveness, in high-pressure and fast-changing environments. His methods are rooted in psychological insights, helping clients adjust their behaviours, refine their risk management strategies, and navigate and negotiate challenges with clarity, diplomacy and confidence.

    His coaching methods provide clients with fresh insights into how they can manage themselves, their bosses, colleagues and clients particularly around change and transformation.

    As a coach he works with key decision-makers and risk-takers at all levels, employing a coaching style marked by deep compassion and challenging inquiry. This approach has earned him global recognition across the financial services industry.

    Peter has been a pioneer since mid-1990s in the coaching profession and has now delivered over 36,000 hours. He co-founded the Academy of Executive Coaching ‘AoEC’ (where he is now Executive Chair) post a successful 25 year career in investment banking latterly at board level.

    He began his career in the 1970s as an accountant, was treasurer of a global shipping company, had many years as a Corporate Finance Advisor in the Energy sector, advised a number of Governments on infrastructure financings, was a company turnround specialist grooming companies for IPO or trade sale, before completing his banking career as Global Head of Strategy for Barcap.

  • Steven Goldstein, Executive Coach

    Steven Goldstein is a prominent performance and executive coach in the global financial markets, specialising in enhancing the capabilities of professionals in market-facing risk roles, as well as in leadership, management, analysis, and support functions.

    With nearly 40 years of experience in and around markets, 25 of them as a high-powered investment bank trader, Steven has a unique understanding of the personal and professional challenges faced by traders and risk professionals. He has collaborated with individuals and teams across hedge funds, sell-side banks, energy and commodity trading firms, and numerous other trading businesses.

    Steven's coaching is designed to help individuals identify and overcome the barriers hindering their pursuit of high performance and sustainable success. His methodology emphasises dialogical exploration, delving into clients’ risk processes, trading practices, behaviours, backgrounds, and environments to understand how these factors influence their decision-making. He employs innovative models and frameworks tailored to address the specific challenges faced by traders and high achievers.

    In 2024, Steven published his first book, "Mastering the Mental Game of Trading," which introduces fresh concepts for understanding the psychological dynamics of trading. By focusing on the mental and emotional aspects of performance, Steven aims to empower his clients to excel in the competitive and often volatile financial landscape.

  • Stacey Rolle, Practice Manager

    Stacey has worked and supported SDC for 15 years as Practice Manager, with 12 years previous experience working for major financial institutions.  Stacey is a licenced practitioner in Lumina Sparks.
